GGM Adds Two More LPGA Events To Its Management Schedule

September 27, 2013 – Officials for Global Golf Management, a leading golf management company headquartered in Chicago, today announce the addition of two LPGA tournaments that will be under GGM’s direction beginning in 2014.

GGM has been contracted to help manage two yet unnamed LPGA events in Alabama. Both will be held on golf courses on the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail, the first in May and the second in September.

The May event will be played at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail Magnolia Grove Course in Mobile, Ala. RTJ Golf Trail’s Capitol Hill Course will host the second event, tentatively scheduled for September 2014 in Prattville, Ala.

“We’re elated to partner with Sunbelt Golf and the Robert Trent Jones Trail on the upcoming LPGA projects in Mobile and Prattville, Alabama,” said Mike Harmon, principal at Global Golf Management, which, among other events will be managing the season‐opening LPGA event in 2014, the Pure Silk‐Bahamas LPGA Classic. “These two projects fit nicely into our current lineup of events. We’re continuing to grow, and the new business offers us a chance to expand our regional office in Alabama.”

Founded in 1989, Global Golf Management annually oversees the tournament operations for 30‐plus golf events around the world.
